General Producer in Sonata Films, Producer of TV and Audiovisual Communicator of Politécnico Colombiano Jaime Isaza Cadavid (Medellín), she made additional studies of Management of Audiovisual Heritage of the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University (Bogotá). Mónica Giraldo has extensive experience in audiovisual productions in film, television and advertising.
Currently, she also develops management projects for the rescue and protection of the colombian audiovisual heritage.
She produced her first feature film “Pasos de Héroe” premiered in theaters in 2016, she also participated as Line Producer of the feature film for France AU NON DU FILS (2015), was Production Manager and post-production coordinator in the feature film “Lo Azul del Cielo” (2012 ), Production Coordinator and Sponsorship Coordinator for the feature film “En Coma” (2011).
She was General Producer of advertising projects in 64A Fims (2016) and Director of Development also in 64A Films between the years 2011 – 2013, General Producer of several advertising projects in FOX Telecolombia (2014 – 2015), she was linked with the production company Direktor Films for the development of projects and content for television and film and also worked as Executive Producer for different commercials, some highlighted as “Los Héroes en Colombia están vestidos de Honor”, commercials made for the National Army (2015) and for the National Police (2015) , and Executive Production Assistant in Laberinto Producciones for seasons II and III of the Sony Pictures Tv serie “Los Caballeros las Prefieren Brutas”.
In the city of Medellín she had for several years the executive and commercial management of his own company Ara Films, which produced audiovisual content, she also produced along with her partners the Telefilm “Designios” (2007). She worked as a producer for the production company Telecinco, she was producer for the news program CQN Noticias (2001) and in the archive department of the news programs CQN Noticias and Hora 13 Noticias (2000).
