Sound Supervisor in Sonata Films. Master of Music with emphasis on Sound Engineering an TV Specialty from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He has more tan 14 years of experience developing sound design tasks, foley recording, ADR recording, voice editing, stereo mixing and 5.1 mixing in audiovisual postproduction for film and televisión.

Mauricio worked for 10 years at Caracol Television developing as sound editor, music editor and final mixer for diferent tv programs such as “Club 10”, “El baile De La Vida”, “La EX”, “Muñoz Vale Por Dos”, “Tu Voz Estéreo”, “También Caerás”, “Yo Me Llamo”, “Desafío”, “La Voz Colombia” and “La Pista”. In Cinecolor Digital Colombia, he worked for “Los Caballeros las prefieren brutas 2” and “La Promesa”. He also worked on Televideo for “Yo soy Franky” and editing music for “El Conquistador del Caribe”, a reality Show from Spain.

In Sonata Films, some of the projects he has worked on are the feature films “Detective Marañón”, “El Cartel de la papa”, “Pariente”, “La palabra de Pablo”, “The Extraordinary Journey of Celeste Garcia”, “Pickpockets” and “La Frontera”. He has also worked in “El Conquistador del Amazonas” reality Show, some short films such as “Exodo”, “En la carretera”, “Zapatillas”, “Malicia Indígena”, “Marina”, “Cuando Llovía” and in some documentaries such as “Aislados”, “Buscando al animal”, “Cuando Colombia se volvió Macondo”, “Pedazo de Acordeón”, “La Fortaleza” and “A qué sabe Colombia”.
